These bars are so crunchy, delicious and flavorful just right for a satisfying brake in the middle of the day!

Ingredients
1½ cups cold butter or hard margarine, cut up
2 cups all purpose flour
1½ quick - cooking rolled oats
1 cup brown sugar packed
1 cup medium unsweetened coconut
2 tsp orange zest
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup toasted pecans or walnuts
Filling:
14 oz (398 ml) can of whole cranberry sauce
1 cup apricot (orange) marmalade
Instructions
Cut butter into flour in large bowl until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Add next 6 ingredients and stir well. Divide the dough in half and then press one half of oat mixture evenly in greased 10* 15 inch (25cm/38 cm) pan. Set aside and add pecans (walnuts) to remaining oat mixture, stir well and set aside.
Filling:
Combine cranberry sauce and marmalade in a bowl and spread evenly over oat oat mixture in pan. Sprinkle with reserved pecan (walnuts) mixture. Press down lightly.
Bake in 350 degrees F (175 degrees) oven for about 30 minutes until golden. Let stand in pan to cool. Cut into square pieces. will make about 30 squares 2,5/2,5 inches
